TekPartners insisted that I must be available to work immediately if I wanted a job as a mobile software architect and they promised 50 hours of work per week. TekPartners convinced me to pay all the travel expenses to get to their client immediately. Then they kept delaying my first work day and told me each day that they 'would make it up to me' because I was paying thousands to get myself to the client location and to be at the client location. I took out loans to pay for the expenses to go work for TekPartners. They finally were ready for my first day of work about 2 weeks later. Then they kept giving me new excuses for not paying me for my work for many weeks from December until the middle of January. I worked through all the holidays, went into debt by taking out personal loans to pay all the expenses to go work for TekPartners. They actually all disappeared during the holidays - left me hanging, wondering how to deal with a financial crisis because I was naive to fly out to a far away city to be next door to their client and work long hours to solve tech issues (I keep my promises). TekPartners never told the client they promised me 50 hours of work each week to make the job financially logical for the expenses & financial losses they dropped on me. When the contract was completed, TekPartners then gave me a new runaround game with new excuses daily for a few weeks about why they were not able to pay me for the final weeks that I worked & incurred expenses with that contract. I had to contact the client and the client inspired TekPartners to pay me what I was owed for my contract. The client was very happy with my work, we made some excellent software solutions together and had a respectful business relationship. When the contract was over, TekPartners told me they submitted me for new relevant contracts with much better financial outcome for me, to make up for the losses with the first contract. TekPartners never did actually submit my resume for any new contracts nor any relevant jobs as they promised. Instead, different TekPartner recruiters kept contacting me every few weeks, sometimes every few days to ask if they could submit me to the same old jobs ( each new recruiter had no idea of the other recruiters in their team that claimed they submitted my current resume ). I requested TekPartners remove my name & contact info from their email lists and their databases. I also told TekPartners that I fired them, they do not have the right to represent me nor submit my resume to anyone for any reason ever. TekPartners stated they would remove my name & contact info from their email lists & databases, but they wanted me to also talk about everything with them, more than I already had for many months. I refused to give them anymore of my time for talking (I see no reason to talk in circles about lies). Months later and recruiters from TekPartners are still contacting me about the same "jobs" and wanting my most current resume to represent me. Attempts to correct the issues with TekPartners in writing, in email and on the phone are a complete waste of time & resources. Sometimes managers at TekPartners will send emails wanting to create bigger drama about these matters I mention.
Who knows...maybe she is too busy posting selfies on social media???? The problem with a lot of staffing agencies is that they hire people with no credentials to play at being a recruiter. My advice: ditch these chain staffing agencies and go with a small, private firm who actually employ seasoned professionals as recruiters.
